A human rights-based, regime interaction approach to climate change and malnutrition: Reforming food systems for human and planetary health

The modern, global food system is unsustainable for both human and planetary health. widespread consumption of highly processed foods use production systems that negatively affect the environment have led to a rise in nutrition-related diseases exacerbated effects climate change. A comprehensive reform diets needed effectively respond this problem, but interference industry actors health negotiations diluting policies at domestic international levels. This article establishes concrete value legal responses grounded rights tackling syndemic change malnutrition. Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) exemplifies how normative conflicts between trade regimes can be overcome. Forming an effective egalitarian response malnutrition will require rights-based, regime interaction approach prioritizes over private interests.
